Getting the best Rimfire Rifle is a process. Here is how we go about it:

Wait Time: Custom Work does take time, but we have made great strides to reduce our backlog. One of the reasons for this time is that Jonathan works on every one of these rifles. There are employees that help with various aspects of the business, but the chamber work is always performed by Jonathan himself. You will want to plan ahead, but we are reducing that wait time every day.

The Work: When your rifle is next on the list, Jonathan will get to work. He has proprietary processes and techniques to make your rimfire rifle shoot its best.

The Testing: This is the step companies skip and let you handle it. Every rifle that comes through the shop has been tested with multiple lots of ammunition to make sure it meets Modacam’s high standards. This takes time and expense, but we insist on it.

Shipping: Your new rifle gets puts in custom-made packaging that protects your investment and gets it to you ready to go.

Modacam has in-stock barrel pre-fits for some rifles. We are hoping to keep these in stock but they tend to fly off the shelves.

These are available for both the CZ457 and RimX (but not ModX) platforms. These barrels are ready to go out of the box and you can just purchase them in the Store and put them on yourself at home. They use the same methods that make a Modacam rifle so great. Just without the same wait time.
